Welcome to my first ever blog post and my first ever podcast - all in one!
I am excited to finally release my first podcast. This podcast was incredibly fun to make and I hope that you will find it as fun and as interesting as I did making it.
Discussed within the podcast is the role in which industry plays in impacting and influencing the healthcare domain. In this case, we discuss how Canon Medical Europe combat some of the challenges we see in the NHS and across the globe.
The UK's Life Science Sector Deal specifically includes the use of AI in pathology and radiology to support innovators in this area. Canon were granted funding in order to start up iCAIRD (Industrial Centre for Artificial Intelligence Research in Digital Diagnostics). Another endeavor led by Canon Medical and iCAIRD which is expected to disrupt the domain of Biomedical AI is SHAIP (Safe Haven Artificial Intelligence Platform). SHAIP will help AI developers and innovators bring their algorithms and models to the healthcare market faster than ever before.
